Camel Face is a book about a girl named Melissa. She lives in Wattle Valley with her mum. Her mum and dad just got divorced because her dad could never make up his mind so it had become hard to live with him. Her dad owned a dentists shop. He did a booming business almost every single day because he did the fillings so gently. To add to the comfort the drilling instrument played comforting music as he was drilling teeth. Her mother worked at a 
shoe store. 

Camel Face is about a girl who inherits a wish-making copper camel. She wishes to look exactly like someone else. Just a couple of days before it is time to wish herself back to normal, the camel gets stolen...  Will she ever be herself again?

Camel Face is a great adventure book that will keep you reading until the book is finished. Camel Face will keep you hooked and not because your parents think you will develop your 
comprehension skills or because your teacher thinks that you might learn something but because it is just pure great.

The topic the author has chosen is really cool topic if you like something different to read. The quality of the story line is also exceptionally good although the book could do with a few good Illustrations. The language and print were both good and easy to read. The layout assists the reader to understand what is going on.

This book is suitable for kid 10-11 years old. Camel Face is a read alone but it is also suitable to read to a younger sibling. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading.
