This.book is uniquely written but very easy to read. It has illustrations to help you see what the characters are like. 

The book is about the Gigglers, which are little fun creatures that secretly follow children around to make sure adults are being fair to them. If adults are not fair they get the Giggler Treatment, which is making the adult step in dog poo. Mr Mac is the father of Jimmy and Robby and the book focuses on the Mac family, Rover, their dog and their experiences with Giggler Treatment.

This is a really great and funny book by Roddy Doyle that will keep you amused until the end. I think this book would be enjoyed by ages 8 and over. Out of 10, I rate this book a 9.
