 This story is about mates and mating. Little kids might not understand the book, as it is about sex. We learnt lots of information about insects and animals and how they mate. Some of us thought it was embarassing. Some of us thought it was different when they were mating.

We think the book was aimed at 8 years and over (we are 8 and 9). The characters were likeable and colourful. The language was understandable.

The book was presented upside down in one section, and this was well done.

Mega Mega Mates is a sort of double story with one ending,

It is about two mega worms looking for each other and each part of the book is each ones story. On the way they see other animals with funny mating habits It is a pretty good book, done with very bright colours. At the beginning of each story a little beetle holds up a sign saying half the story. I also liked the facts about the animals.
