![]() What's My Family Tree? Mick Manning Brita Granstrom Franklin Watts, London, 2001 0749639970 | "What's my family tree?" is an information book on family trees. Our book is about children that ask questions about family trees then the answer is written under the questions. For example they ask: Why don't some children live with their real parents? The answer talks about foster parents who look after children because sometimes their parents cannot look after them. I think that the large print would be able to be read by 7 year olds and older. Some of the print is in speech bubbles in very large writing. I think that the pictures help. They are in bright colours and are almost like cartoons. People that want to know what a family tree is would like this book. You know what a family tree is when you have read this book. The book makes me think about life. Even though it was a good information book, though, I wasn't all that glad I read it. I haven't changed by reading this book although one day I would like to keep it to read to my children. I would not spend my money on it. I think that this book is a read-along book. Skye and Felicity, Year 3, Birdwood, SA |
