Edited by Sharon Moore St Martins Griffin 2001 0312282540 | This is a book filled with letters from children around the world who love Harry Potter. It also includes some letters from adults, crosswords and recipes. This is a good book. Some of the letters are boring, because they ask questions about things we already know, like what things would be in the movie. Most of the letters ask interesting questions or tell us how the writer feels about the books. I think it is terrific that adults have sent in letters too. The children write about their favourite characters. Some tell of how to make things in the book, for example Butter Beer. The purpose of the book is to share with other readers some readers thoughts about the Harry Potter books. The editor puts the letters under different subjects that people wrote in about. At the end, she lists other books Harry Potter fans might like. She has also included some drawings by children. Most of the letters are written by 9 to 13 year olds, so it would be best for this age group to read. I enjoyed this book. I personally would recommend it to other Harry Potter lovers m |
