| I thought the book Holey Shorts was a great book.It had a great beginning,and after that I couldn't put the book down. I think it is because of the climax,it reaches up so high at some points it feels as if the book will blow! It has a great ending, but i won't tell you it because you'll have to read itfor yourself. There is dialogue but not too much. You begin to feel sorry for the characters because of the things that happento them and it just keeps on coming. There aren't many pictures, but if you read carefully the imagery builds upin your mind. The font used is legible and the words are easy to read. Anotherthing that makes Holey Shorts worth reading is that the language is appropriateand very interesting. Its nice to read by yourself but also would be great to read with someoneelse. I probably wouldn't read it under the covers with a torch but is still veryenjoyable. I would recommend this book for other kids to read and enjoy too.(it wouldprobably be for ages 7+.
