Angela won a prize and went on a holiday. Her cat, Old Tom, disguised himself and went on the holiday as well . He followed Angela around. They ended up having dinner together. The whole idea of the book is to make people laugh, because Old Tom followed her and Angela didnt realize it.

We think this book would be for ages 4 9. The plot was quite easy to follow, and the climax came when they had dinner at the end , at a fancy restaurant  and  Old Tom was allowed to eat anything he wanted to.  It was because they got back together. Angela had really missed Old Tom, even though he never helped around the house.

The pictures really grabbed us because of the funny illustrations.  The author was trying to write a great book and draw funny pictures and he succeeded.
