This story is about aboriginal people and how they built all the schools, churches and what they did to get food and water. The authors are the teachers and students at Papunya School and they tell you what the children do when they are at school. The book tells you how they found Uluru and all the other national parks.

I can feel the atmosphere because once you see the pictures you can understand what they is trying to tell you.

This book has beautiful Aboriginal pictures. It is easy to follow but it would be hard without the pictures. Sometimes it is hard when you are reading some stories and it is boring sometimes but I still enjoyed the book because you learn so much about the aboriginal life of people.

They would have had a very hard time when they were living there and it would be hard to find enough food. (I would hate to be living like that.)

The relationships between them all are great because they would have to work as a team to get all the food, fresh water and to light the fires.

The author is trying to convey a message; the message the author is trying tell you is look what it was like to live as an Aborigine.
