 This book is about 3 animals who love surfing - Nico, Mikey and Claudia. They live on a planet called Ithaca, really like Earth. One day an alien named Icon appears. Icon loves surfing as well. Icon's brother Vidor has taken over the planet Durillium. While everyone is asleep, Icon disappears back to Durillium and is locked up in the Underworld. Nico, Mikey and Claudia go to Durillium to save Icon, but they get trapped in the Underworld and end up in a maze with a giant chicken.

This book is half comic and half words. The characters were really good and the story was very funny. I liked the different planets where the humans had animal heads.

It was very funny. The narrator wouldnt stop talkingabout himself and in the end, he made up an ending that he thought was good. Hesaid that if you do not like my ending, here is another one. There is a lot ofcompletely unbelievable stuff in it. It is really really good.

The blurb really appealed to me. There is a lot of stuffthat he said like, no animals were hurt during the making of this book. He saidthat sixteen dolphins died in the making of this book, they fell out of thetrees! In the back there is a guide to the language of m.i.t. He is a funnycharacter.

I think this book would be for 9 to 11 year olds. It ismostly comics so it was quick to read. It has fabulous pictures. It only took meone and a half hours to read.

I would rate this as very, very, very, very good. 10 out of10.
