She eats. She scratches. She sleeps. She’s a big hairy wombat with, a bit more attitude than you might think! This wombat is trying to train humans to be better pets and understand her, while writing it down in her diary.

The illustrations in this book are fantastic as well as realistic. When you read it then look at the pictures they match really well. I liked the illustrations in this book and if you ever read it you will agree with me.

This wombat is a very demanding character. When she does not get what she wants they know about it! She digs holes, loves a bit of a scratch to fix her itch, but most of all she loves grass, carrots and rolled oats.

I probably recommend this book to ages 6 to 11 that are interested in an animal and what it does in its extraordinary life. The language in this book is not too difficult for children of any age though.

It was a very funny book and I enjoyed reading it. Overall I would rate this book with 4 stars out of 5 ****
