Scholastic 2003 | I read Fairy Dreams written by Carol McLean-Carr. Its theme is fairies and is recommended for 6-12 year olds, but it is a very difficult book to understand. In this book some fairies borrow some toys from Isobel but they lose them and on every page you have to find another toy that they have lost. Do they find all the toys by the time Isobel wakes up? The pictures are fantastic and have lots of detail. They have used lots of different textures and colours. It is written in rhyme. It’s not a very good reading book but it would be a good book just to look at the pictures. This book is good for challenging yourself and good to test your patience. This book was first published in 1999 in Adelaide (Australia) by Scholastic. Katrina (13) Adelaide |
