This book is about two frogs, one old, one young, named Lester and Clyde.

The book is written and illustrated by James Reece. It has funny pictures and is suitable for kids aged 4 to 10 years. There are fires, drought and even humans are involved in the story, as well as a dangerous feral cat that likes to eat frogs. The story starts to get a bit scary in the middle, but like many stories has a happy ending. Both of the frogs in this book have a very interesting but dangerous adventure.

I think this book is good for children of a young age who like colourful pictures and talking frogs. Lester and Clyde’s Catastrophic Adventure is a picture book which most children will enjoy- as I did. It is very funny for a picture book. I would rate it three stars out of five.
