What would happen if everyone in your town had the same name?

How would you know if someone was talking to you or your neighbour?

On the day of the Village Fair, Max the boy meets Max the dog , and before they know it, everyone in town has decided to call themselves Max. Max and Max think this is coo because they are faomous and even get to judge the cake competiton. Even the mayor wants to rename the town Maxville.

One name for everyone and everything seemed to make sense to everyone except Neville, the postman. He was in such a panic that he sent for help from the Postmaster General, who was the most important man in the world.

This is a simple book about a boy and his dog and we really liked the pictures, especially the way Max and Max look so alike. They are bright and colourful and it weasy to see that everyone is having fun at the fair.

It was good to listen to our teacher read it aloud to us but it would be hard for us to read alone because the words are in a fancy font that is a bit hard to read. But now that we have heard it, we can use the pictures to retell the story to ourselves.
