Grandad and I were talking one day about football and I asked him "Did you used to play?"

He picked up an old photograph that sat beside his bed and he started to tell me the story of the day the Mighty Bunyips played Feral United in the Grand Final. It was the event of the year and spectators had come from all over. Everyone was feeling excited, nervous or anxious because the Mighty Bunyips had never beaten Feral United in 23 years.

Everyone feared thier best player the razorback, Snout, because he never missed a goal. The Mighty Bunyips ran through the banner. Umpire MacBunny raised the ball and the siren sounded. Game on!

We really recommend this book because

• It is great enterntainment because it was funny.
• The characters are all different yet they work toghether as a team
• The pictures are bright and colourful and they really add to the story
• We liked the rhyme.

We think children who are from 6 - 10 and who like sport would like this book. It is best for reading along.
