Pamela is a cow.

She is black and white.

She likes to eat pears.

She would eat all the pears she could find, even the ones the children had.

She even liked stewed pears and ice cream.

There was a pear tree in the garden and Pamela liked to eat the pears off that. Grandpa built a fence around the tree but Pamela founda way through.

Pamela really liked pears.

One day Amy had an idea. Soon Pamela didn't like pears any more!

We really liked this book. We thought it was funny. We thought Amy might put a big net over the pear tree or paint them all with mustard. We didn't think of the idea that Amy had.

We liked the pictures too. Pamela looks very friendly even though cows are big.

We think this is a good book for pre-school and kindergarten and Year 1.
