This is a realistic and truly touchy story about one boy and the pain he must live with from an incident that happened many years ago. Then one day he realises that the only way to overcome his fear is to open up and let it all out. The only problem is that after so many years of self-isolation from the outside world, Georgie then thinks that it is too hard to face his past, yet with the help of great friends he comes to realise he must face it one step at a time.

A great read for teenagers aged between 13 to 17 years. The text is very readable, the size and front is perfect for reading aloud or by your self. This novel just proves how strong the human spirit is, even when all seems lost. I really enjoyed Georgie and recommend that everyone reads it; it truly is a powerful novel.
