Netball Mission is a book about two girls, named Rachel and Sophie, who really want to get into the netball state side. It was their dream. But both girls realised that circumstances in their lives might see them not reaching their goal. Rachel's school marks were dropping because she was paying more attention to netball than her school work. Her teacher and parents said that if her grades did not get better then she would have to give up netball. Sophie had trouble of a more serious nature. Her mother had been told she had breast cancer. Sophie was suddenly responsible for looking after her younger brother and sister as well as completing the daily chores. She wouldn't have time to train for netball. How will they overcome their problems?

I think the book is realistic with a story line that could happen in every day life. It was easy to read and used simple language. I believe the book would be suitable for ages 10-16. I really enjoyed this book and would give it 9\10. I think that people who read this book would really enjoy it because it shows how you are able to overcome obstacles in life with hard work and the support of others around you.
