Operation Foxtrot Five by D.J Stutley from Lothian Publishing Company is a thrilling adventure told through the eyes of an escapee convinced he is in the right and a pursuer who needs to bring in these criminals.

Doug is a teenager, who after the death of his parents, is trying to keep what little family he has left, together. Doug, Tori, Keryn, Kelly and Aaron are on the run from child welfare and the threat of another family separation. Troubles begin to strike when Toris heart medicine runs out and Doug has to go get more. From there the story unfolds as Doug runs from a young Detective-Sergeant Scott Baker but is eventually caught. Doug resists the temptation to give away his family but his options are quickly running out. Even though he is resistant at first Doug begins to see Scott as a big brother/parent figure he can look up to even though he shows hatred towards Scott.

D.J Stutley has pitched this book towards 14 18 years old as younger children could read it but wouldnt grasp the realism of the book and older people would easily disregard the book for its simplicity. It is a simple novel with simple vocabulary and phrases. This book is probably best read where you are by yourself so you can understand truly what this family of runaways is trying to do.

Read this book if you like to feel for others, if you have ever experienced loss in your family or if you enjoy a light read nothing you have to delve too far into. This is basically a classic good guys/bad guys book and would be enjoyed by nearly all.
